DV Connect

DVConnect is a Queensland-based service that supports individuals and families affected by domestic, family, and sexual violence. They offer free emergency transport and accommodation, including for children and pets, as well as safety planning, crisis counselling, and referrals. DVConnect also operates Bella’s Sanctuary, a safe residence where victim-survivors can begin to heal and rebuild.

1800RESPECT is Australia’s national service offering free, confidential support for anyone impacted by domestic, family, or sexual violence. Available 24/7, support is accessible via phone (1800 737 732), text (0458 737 732), and online chat. Video call support is also available from 9am to midnight (AEST), seven days a week, with no appointment needed. Their website provides information in 30 languages to ensure support is accessible to all communities across Australia.
